Curlew Sandpiper, Spotted Redshank, Garganey and Cattle Egret

Even with the smaller tides there are still plenty of Wader species being seen. Up to 3 Curlew Sandpipers have been seen as well as Spotted Redshank, Greenshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Knot, Redshank, Dunlin and Curlew. There has been and increase in Spoonbills, now with 6 being seen on the Saline Lagoons as well as the long staying Cattle Egret which sometimes ventures to the Dafen Scrapes where 2 Garganey remain.
Millennium Wetlands
Lapwing Numbers have been increasing recently, with over 50 being seen around the Deep Water Lake. the Deep Water Lake also hosts Kingfishers, Water Rail and Cetti's Warblers which can been seen from both the Peter Scott and Herons Wing Hide.
