Highlights: Brent Geese, Spoonbill, Brambling

The Saline lagoons have filled up recently due to heavy rain fall and large tides, this has caused a reduction to the variety of waders. However large numbers of Wigeon and other wildfowl have been sighted as well as 5 Spoonbills. Out on the Estuary Brent Geese and high numbers of Oystercatchers have been sighted.

Millennium Wetlands

Out on the Deep Water Lake Cormorants are preparing to winter roosting in high numbers in the evenings. Across the lake Lapwing, Kingfisher, Little Grebe and Gadwall can all be seen.

A Brambling was sighted at the bird feeders outside The Kingfisher Cafe so keep an eye out whilst having lunch.
