Recent Sightings

Sightings from the 25^th August have included:

• Estuary – 75 Curlew, 1 Greenshank, 1,500 Oystercatchers and 1 Black Tailed Godwit
• Limestone Lake – 3 Little Grebes, 3 Mallard, 1 Kingfisher and 1 Tufted duck
• Main Lake – 3 Little Egrets, 120 Black Headed Gulls, 2 Lesser Black Backed Gulls and 30 Greylags
• Fresh Water Lagoon – 2 Gadwalls, 3 Mallard and 1 Tufted duck
• Butterflies – Large White, Peacock and Small Copper
• Damselflies – Common Blue
• Dragonflies – Common Hawker and Common Darter
• Swallows fledged from the Crannog
• Brent Geese – 150 Brent geese were spotted from the Brent Hide on 29^th August. Can also be seen from the Limekiln
