Recent sightings - 4th November
The following sightings were recorded today by Toni Castello, warden, at low tide.
Estuary - visible from the Brent Hide and the Limekiln Observatory
Brent geese +1500, Oystercatcher +300, Curlew 25, Shelduck +200, Wigeon 60, Black-headed gull +250, Redshank 30, Black-tailed godwit 10.
Main lake - visible from Sensory garden and Visitor centre
Mallard 70, Tufted duck 8, Coot 4, Black-headed gull 10, Grey heron 2, Mute swan 3. A Common gull was also inside the birds' collection.
Wadermarsh - visible from Wadermarsh lookout and Brent Hide
Wigeon 2, Common teal 10. Oystercatcher 1. Mute swan 1.
Freshwater Lagoon - visible from Brent Hide and Crannog
Coot 2, Tufted 6.
Saline Lagoon - visible from Limekiln observatory
Little grebe 5.
Limestone Lake - visible from the Limestone Pavilion and woodland lookout
Tufted duck 1, Mallard 11.
