Reserve Update Tuesday 4th September
Duck numbers continue to build with a solitary Tufted Duck and two Wigeon joining the mallards on the Whooper Pond. The Little Grebe also remains on this pond. If insects are your thing then the Joe Pye Weed and Sedum are spectacular for Butterflies and Bumblebees at the moment (when the sun shines!) in the Wildlife Garden. As an example there were 14 Red Admirals, 3 Small Tortoiseshell, 3 Peacock, 2 Green--veined Whites and 1 Painted Lady there the other day.

Unfortunately we have been experiencing problems with our Osprey camera this year. We hope to fix the problems before next summer. At the moment, the two Osprey chicks are still around the area but they will be heading south soon.
We aim to have Swan Cam and Badger Cam up and running soon.
