Reserve Update Wednesday 9th May - Lapwing Chicks!
One of our pair of Lapwings on the Lochar Field now has two fluffy chicks running around them. They are regularly going back to sit underneath the parents due to the continued cold weather. The Swallows are back prospecting within the Teal Pond hide so please enter and sit quietly within. Our Osprey pair have three eggs in the nest. The Red Campion and Bluebells are now starting to come out along the Avenue to go along with the Primroses. \the last of the Barnacle Geese have now moved onto the Cumbrian coast ready to start their migration up north.
Today's high tide is at 07:46, 7.2m.
