Sightings Saturday 30th December

Bright mild start to the day, there is now flood water on the reserve so wellies are a must for getting to the hides which are all open apart from Reedbed hide which is closed due to the flooding.

However there are quite good numbers of birds to see, with three cranes passing over this morning as well as sightings of Great white egret (3), Merlin and Water rail.
