Slimbridge have been awarded 97% as a Quality Visitor Attraction by Visit England
Slimbridge has scored 97% in its recent VAQAS (VisitEngland Quality Assured Visitor Attraction) assessment, again improving on previous high scores with a 1% increase from the 2021 assessment.

Slimbridge is now eligible to be nominated once again for the VisitEngland Gold Accolade.
VisitEngland were highly impressed by Slimbridge’s staff and volunteers, along with the overall offer and general presentation of the wetland centre. VisitEngland felt that Slimbridge continues to successfully mix an important educational message about our natural world, with entertainment for all ages.
This visit was undertaken without a family and demonstrates that there is plenty to keep any visitor entertained and interested at Slimbridge whether you are interested in birds or not! From family visitors to nature lovers, adult social groups and avid bird watchers, there’s something for everyone at Slimbridge.
This week Slimbridge has also received a 2022 Travellers' Choice Award by TripAdvisor, which means Slimbridge are in the top 10% of attractions worldwide.
