Spoonbill reported...

Spotted Crake

It wasn't seen on a ten minute look at 0845hrs, no subsequent reports from visitors to 1400hrs at least though it may still be present and unreported.

Zeiss Hide

A Spoonbill was reported to visitor centre staff at lunchtime. Other birds noted on the hide rounds around 0830hrs were 350+ Wigeon in a highly mobile flock, 20+ Pintail and 1200 Teal loafing on the flood. The waders were represented by 2 Greenshank, 2 Redshank, 42 Dunlin, 10 SnipeĀ and a Curlew Sandpiper.

South Lake

A single Curlew Sandpiper remains with a Greenshank, Green Sandpiper, 100+ Black-tailed Godwit, 19 Redshank and 9 Ruff.

Kingfisher Hide

A flock of 7 Ruff with 193 Lapwing and 40 Starling were seen mid-morning feeding on the ploughed field, seen from the South side of this field from the tractor cab.
