Spotted Redshank, a moulted adult present on site. At least 250 Black-tailed Godwit, Common Sandpiper, 3 Little Ringed Plover, Ringed Plover, 6 Oystercatcher, 50+ Lapwing, c10 Avocet.
Green Sandpiper from the Hale Hide.
A further influx of Ruff with up to 10 birds present.
Common Terns active around the reserve.
Raptors included 2 Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.
Bullfinch on the feeders from the Janet Kear Hide.
Peak Cinnabar Moth caterpillar (pic below) action on Ragwort around the reserve.
