171 Curlew and 225 Shelduck feeding on the mudflats at low tide. Over 200 Black-headed Gull were feeding on the mud at low tide and a single 'Commic' Tern and three Common Terns were loafing on the mud/tidal wood. A single Dunlin and 16 Avocet were among the Curlew roost at high tide. One of the Oystercatcher families is also feeding out on the mud flats with other non-breeding pairs about too. At least 64 Lapwing are feeding on the mud.

Over 50 Teal, the Reeve (female Ruff) and 18 Redshank were feeding/roosting. Little Grebes and Gadwall broods were on the deep flood.

Robbie Garnett Hide

8 Green Sandpiper and 2 Lapwing are feeding on the newly exposed mud, less rain has meant the levels have dropped a bit.
