Rushy Pen Hide

Two Redshank, a Black-tailed Godwit and 4 Green Sandpiper on the lower pond.

Tack Piece/Robbie Garnett Hide

Two Oystercatcher, 5 Green Sandpiper, 3 Lapwing and 7 Teal on the scrape.

Holden Tower

Three Greenshank and an adult Little-ringed Plover on the scrape. A female Wigeon on the pool adjacent, 60 Sand Martin feeding over the Dumbles/TNP with Swifts, Swallows and House Martins.

South Lake

The wader scrape is still busy with 6 Avocet, 100+ Black-tailed Godwit and 50+ Redshank. 65 Gadwall were on view as well as the usual scattering of Mallard and Shelduck broods. On the Deep Lake the Little Grebes were feeding their well grown youngster and the Great Crested Grebe pair are still present.

Zeiss Hide

A juvenile Little-ringed Plover was feeding on the islands with two more viewable distantly on the Bottom New Piece mud. Picture below is of an adult on the Dumbles scrape.

LRP

A Curlew was an unusual sighting on the flood, 43 Lapwing, 5 Shoveler and 25+ Teal plus 7 Avocet were also present. Reed Warblers are very active in the reeds here and are ranging out into the field to forage.
