Today's sightings

Once again the warblers seem to be everywhere with lots of Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler seen this morning, busily feeding in the hedgerows and willow beds.  The warblers can also get mixed up with flocks of Long-tailed Tits, being dragged along in a sort of 'flock sensation' like sheep.  Very much a case of everyone else is going that way, so I should too!  One Long-tailed Tit flock this morning at the Canoe Safari had at least 6 warblers mixed in with them.  Out towards the river Greenshank have also been notable, calling and flying between different areas.  Various numbers of birds have been seen from various hides.
