Today's sightings
South Lake
Two Cattle Egret roosting (see image above) in the sheltered NW part of the deep lake this afternoon. Also 233 Black-tailed Godwit, Spotted Redshank, 4 Redshank and 8 Snipe on the wader scrape. A few Pochard and 45 Shoveler were present on the deep lake/wader scrape.
Zeiss Hide
The probable Semipalmated Sandpiper was seen again this morning, four Little Stints, 200+ Dunlin, 200+ Golden Plover, 200+ Lapwing, 12 Snipe, 2 Ruff, 3 Redshank, 70 Black-tailed Godwit, 200 Teal and 120 Wigeon. Three Buzzards were in the area and two Water Rail in the reed bed below the hide. The Red-breasted Goose came in to drink and wash with the Barnacle Goose flock.

4 European White-fronted Geese, 300 Wigeon and 90 Teal.
