Oystercatcher- at least 7 pairs are nesting.

Holden Tower

1 Curlew on the spartina island, pair of Peregrine, 8 Lapwing and 75 Avocet on the Dumbles.

Rushy Hide

Nine pairs of Black-headed Gull are now nesting as well as the Crane pair and three pairs of Avocet. The Lapwing family are still doing well on the wildflower meadow. One pair of Teal, the female Wigeon (+hybrid male) and c20 Shelduck and 10 Tufted Duck.

Tack Piece

5 Gadwall, three drake Shoveler, 1 Lapwing, 1 Dunlin and 26 Shelduck.

Zeiss Hide/Top New Piece

Male Wigeon, 8 Gadwall, 4 Teal, 8 Lapwing, male Ruff, 16 Avocet, 103 Black-tailed Godwit, brood of three Mallard, and three singing Reed Warbler.

Van de Bovenkamp Hide

Willow and Sedge Warbler singing.

South Lake

Adult and 2cy Mediterranean Gull among 140 pairs of Black-headed Gull, the Godwits and Ruff were feeding here earlier but moved to the Top New Piece.
