Today's sightings
Zeiss Hide
The Top New Piece remains the place to be but with flocks very flighty in the wind. Totals included around 1000+ Lapwing, 23 Golden Plover, 9 Black-tailed Godwit, 150+ Dunlin (inc bird with leucistic head pattern), 15 Redshank, 18 Ruff, 27 Pintail and 1000+ Wigeon. At least 80 Snipe were on the islands to the north.

South Lake Hides
Being a bit more exposed to the wind and with most of the duck on the Rushy for the feed birds included 800+ Lapwing, 63 Black-tailed Godwit and 6 Dunlin. Four Pochard were on the deep lake.

Rushy Hide
A total of 46 Bewick's Swans were in for the feed this morning along with the usual assortment of duck.

Holden Tower
A flock of 50+ Linnet were on the Dumbles along with 6 Cranes, 2 Peregrines, 2 Raven, 3 Curlew and 6 Great Black-backed Gulls. A flock of 83 Teal and 63 Wigeon were on Pillbox Pool.

Martin Smith Hide
No sign of the Jack Snipe first thing but present were 2 Snipe, 2 Wigeon and 6 Teal.
