Estuary Tower
At least 828 Wigeon were on the river this morning with 58 Pintail as the tide came up. On the riverbanks and Dumbles were 3 Grey Plover, 850+ Golden Plover, a further 104 Wigeon and 8 Redshank. A Raven and Peregrine were sat on the cross fence and the flock of 8 Pink-footed Geese were distant beyond.
Zeiss Hide
The Teal flock numbered 1188 birds this morning on a very busy Top New Piece. Other numbers included 67 Snipe, 76 Wigeon, 215 Knot, 150+ Lapwing, 473 Black-tailed Godwit and 81 Shoveler.
Rushy Hide
All 25 Bewick's Swans were here again this morning along with several hundred duck including 97 Pochard.
Kingfisher Hide
The White-fronted Goose flock was on the Bottom New Piece this morning, joining the Barnacle and Canada Goose flock. Also present were several hundred Lapwing and Dunlin and at least 9 Ruff.
Robbie Garnett Hide
At least 84 Curlew were on the Tack Piece this morning along with a few hundred Lapwing, 12 Pintail, 220 Wigeon and 13 Redshank.
