This morning we had two Eurasian/European White-fronted Geese on the reserve with the Barnacle Geese. Over the last few weeks we have had a good number of this race of White-fronted Goose on the reserve. Usually up here in Caerlaverock we tend to get the Greenland race more commonly however, it seems this year is quiet the opposite.
