At least 207 Bewick`s Swan  roosted here and on the Tack Piece last night. 23% young among the flock represents a good breeding success for our birds but a UK average of 17% and a West European of only 14% are improvements on recent years but not great.

Bittern 2 showing well between 11.30 and 12.30

Teal 1700 no sign of the Green Winged Teal despite lots of looking, Lapwing 500, Golden Plover 200, Dunlin 900, Ruff 5, Cettis Warbler 1, Buzzard 2.
