Highlights
The Lesser Scaup female was on the Rushy all day. 2 Bitterns showed on and off all day at the Zeiss Hide and 140+ Bewick's Swans were on the Rushy.

Holden Tower
At high tide a large gathering of waders were present along the shore, 9 Grey Plover, 1700 Golden Plover, 600 Dunlin and 3500 Lapwing. cAt least 4 'continental' Greylag were pulling up roots on the Dumbles and the Barnacle Geese are grazing here too. A flock of 50 Great Black-backed Gulls roosted over high tide.

Plenty of birds here, large numbers of roaming Lapwing, Golden Plover and Dunlin joined the 1300 Wigeon, 550 Teal and large variety of other duck species. E White-fronted Geese and Bewick's Swans have been feeding here too though the former have ranged to the northern fields. Black-tailed Godwits commuted with 7 Ruff between here and the South Lake all day.

Kingfisher with fish! Great Crested Grebe fishing and plenty of diving duck, Cormorants and more.
