Today's sightings- Great White Egret

A Great White Egret turned up today, unfortunately it can only be seen distantly from the Sloane Tower as it is in a very sensitive area for breeding birds. The weather look set to cancel Land Rover safaris this weekend so we can only hope it chooses to visit some of the other wetland sites close to the centre.

Other species of note today include a female Whinchat on Middle Point fence and 87 Ringed Plover, 2 Sanderling and 45 Dunlin on the estuary.

The scrapes and hide sightings were similar to yesterday.
