Over 25 Yellowhammers are feeding in the hedgerow leading up to the Peter Scott Observatory at the moment along with Reed Bunting and Tree Sparrow.
There are huge numbers of waders on site at the moment using our flooded fields. Curlew, Lapwing, Golden Plover, Dunlin and Black-tailed Godwit are the most numerous. The Avenue Tower and upstairs in the Peter Scott Observatory are the best places to view them.
Hen Harriers are still a common sight from the Saltcot Merse Observatory along with Peregrine, Buzzard and Merlin.
