Waders starting to drop in
The past week has seen a return of some of our waders to site. Curlew numbers are building up with 25 birds seen in the Lochar field today from the Pasture Pathway. They have also been observed flying across the River Walk. Common Sandpiper are often to be found along the muddy banks of the Lochar Water searching for food. The first couple of Black-tailed Godwit turned up on the Folly Pond last week but they seem to have moved on for the time being. Do keep your eyes peeled for them when viewing from Sharp's Lookout.
