Wigeon everywhere!
Please be aware, the B725 is closed at Brow Well bridge. If you are visiting from the Carlisle/Annan direction you have to come via Dumfries. The bridge has suffered severe damage due to recent flooding and may be closed for a significant amount of time.
Wigeon have been seen all over the site today! There are plenty on the Whooper Pond, Teal Pond and the Flood Ground. There was also a lovely gathering of Wigeon and Lapwing seen from the Avenue Tower enjoying the morning sunshine.
Whooper Swan numbers are still increasing and decreasing all the time as they get used to the feeding routine! 5 Whoopers were present early this morning, and an extra 12 flew in - just missing breakfast time. Swan feeds are of course still taking place daily at 11am and 2pm!
