Wildlife sightings 7th May 2022
Little Egret back on the Wader Scrape and Common Sandpiper on the Main Lake.
1 Common Sandpiper - main lake
2 Oystercatcher - main lake
1 Little Egret - grazing marsh
Sadly no sign of the Glossy Ibis this morning.
Reed warblers, Sedge warblers, Blackcap and Chiffchaff singing all around the reserve.
Flowering plants: Yellow Flag Iris, Yellow Rattle, Common Bistort, Jack-by-the-hedge, Bugle, Ramsones, Bluebell, Marsh Marigold, Lesser Celandine, Herb Robert, Cuckoo-flower, Ox Eye Daisy, Daisy, Dandelion, Rowan, Hawthorn, Hazel, Wild Cabbage.
