Wildlife Sightings for 16th September 2022

A Kingfisher flying around in Wildside, and an increase in the number of winter migrant species across the reserve

1 Grey Wagtail - South Route

5+ Chiff Chaff - West and South routes

5+ Meadow Pipit - Grazing Marsh, South routes

c5 Sand/House Martin - Reservoir Lagoon

A lot of winter migrant species on the move. We are seeing an increased number of Teal, Shoveler, Gadwall and Wigeon settling down and feeding on the main lake, reservoir lagoon and sheltered lagoon.

Dragonflies/Damselflies: Common Blue Damselfly, Common Darter, Willow Emerald Damselfly, Ruddy Darter, Migrant Hawker, Brown Hawker.
