Wildlife Sightings for 18th September 2024
1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Green Sandpiper and 1 Yellow Wagtail

Gadwall- 30+
15-20 Chiffchaff - across site
Cetti's Warblers, Reed Buntings and Reed Warblers can be found in the reedbed and any other reed fringes. Look for Sedge Warblers at the scrubby edges of the marsh, reservoir lagoon and main lake. Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs are active in the scrublands of wildside, south route and sheltered lagoon. Watch the electric fences around the marsh for perching Whinchat or Stonechat.
Dragonflies: (September 8th survey) Migrant Hawker, Ruddy Darter, Common Darter, Willow Emerald Damselfly.
Butterflies: (September 8th survey) Large White, Small White, Green-veined White, Speckled Wood, Red Admiral, Brown Hairstreak.
