Lesser Spotted Woodpecker calling from entrance lake, plus Common Sandpiper, Wheatear and Garganey on site
1 Lesser Spotted Woodpecker - calling from Black Poplar by Entrance Lake then flew along Queen Elizabeth Walk boundary towards the Sheltered Lagoon (07.30)
2 Willow Warbler - wildside, world wetlands
1 Wheatear - marsh
3 Yellow Wagtail - over marsh heading N/NE. One bird came back on to marsh
2 Garganey (pair) - marsh
1 Common Sandpiper - main lake
1 Green Sandpiper - marsh
1 Peregrine - over marsh heading E
2 Red Kite - over W
2 Mediterranean Gull - over main lake
Butterflies: Small White, Brimstone, Peacock, Small Tortoishell, Comma, Holly Blue, Large White, Green-veined White, Orange Tip, Speckled Wood
