Wind dropped today and sun shining on the nest
After the strong NE wind yesterday it has been an easier day for our ospreys on the nest today. The female has built up the sides of the nest to shelter from the wind so it has made seeing the eggs difficult and when she took off earlier today, only one egg was visible. Hopefully the other is sitting well down in the nest cup. The male and female have changed over a few times today with the male incubating for over an hour this morning, he then flew off and returned with a turff to line the nest.
