Wood Sandpipers
The two juvenile Wood Sandpipers are still present and have found each other, both feeding together quite close on Vinson's from Ron Barker hide throughout the day. Also from Ron Barker today, at least 6 Green Sandpiper, 9 Dunlin (7 ad, 2 juv), juv Little Ringed Plover, Ruff, Black-tailed Godwit, Snipe and Lapwing. Also 2-3 Kingfisher from here.
Elsewhere on site the juvenile Greenshank is still showing well at times on the small pool from UU Hide along with up to 3 more Green Sandpiper and up to 4 Little Egrets.
A female Yellow Wagtail was on the Mere this afternoon, also 3 still being seen from Ron Barker Hide.
Both Hobby, Peregrine and 1 juv Marsh Harrier have been seen today along with several sightings of Sparrowhawk, Kestrel and Common Buzzard.
Still 6 Common Tern (4 ad, 2 juv) on Wood end Marsh.
