Wood Sandpipers
A group of 3 Wood Sandpiper were a highlight today closely followed by 2 Greenshank both on view mid afternoon from UU Hide, also from here still large numbers of Black-tailed Godwit and up to 15 Ruff. Other notable waders on site include 5 Green Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper as well as up to 15 Snipe and 500+ Lapwing. A single Curlew flew over the Mere late afternoon.
A nice fresh juvenile Marsh Harrier put in a appearance today so that makes at least 3 different birds over the last few days.
Two Kingfisher were seen from UU Hide this afternoon.
A female Southern Hawker was just by In Focus shop late in the day.
