WWT Slimbridge helps Women’s Institutes Celebrate their Centenary Year
WWT Slimbridge, a mere youngster at only 69 years old, is celebrating Women’s Institutes (WI) great achievement of reaching the grand old age of 100 by giving them a birthday treat - a great group day out at Slimbridge at a reduced admission price, including a cream tea.
WWT Slimbridge is helping local WI’s groups mark their special birthday by letting them get close to spectacular wetland wildlife in their area at the beautiful reserve. Whilst at Slimbridge, WI groups can also hand feed exotic birds, watch nature’s breathtaking spectacles from cosy hides, listen to commentated feeds by wardens, take in stunning scenery and lots more. Finally, they can round off their day with a traditional WI favourite, a delicious cream tea. The whole experience is for just £9, a potential saving of up to £5!.
