WWT Slimbridge Wins ‘Family Day Out Venue of the Year 2019’ at the So Glos Awards
It is with great pleasure to share the news that WWT Slimbridge has won ‘Family Day Out Venue of the Year’ for the second year running at the 2019 SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards.
It is with great pleasure to share the news that WWT Slimbridge has won ‘Family Day Out Venue of the Year’ for the second year running at the 2019 SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards.
The awards ceremony was held at the beautiful Gloucester Cathedral on Thursday 16th May where 400 local business representatives came together for the fun-filled celebration.
Coming up against some of the most popular family attractions across the county, WWT Slimbridge was crowned the winner once again in one of the most voted for categories of the night.
We are delighted to have won this award as there were several impressive venues in our category including Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park who were highly commended.
SoGlos commended WWT Slimbridge; “With so much to do for families, exceptional conservational efforts and an ideal place for little ones and big kids to learn and explore, the attraction is set to grow even bigger and better in the next few years.”
This was also a special award for us as it was a people’s vote award so a big thank you to everyone who voted for us!
