Yet More Avocets

Avocets

Just great around the site again today the young count increasing daily. At least 5 on the Rushy but two family's (6 young) have moved across to the Tack Piece viewable from the Robbie Garnett hide. The South Lake is the best especially from the Hogarth Hide with excellent close up views of multiple families. The totals are at least 19 young 5 of which have fledged and a total count of adults around 50. Some great interaction with predators especially large Gulls but also with families of Shelduck and the incubating Crane.
