Do you deliver?

We prefer people to collect their plants from WWT Slimbridge, but we may be able to deliver within 30 minutes’ drive of Slimbridge – please enquire for further details.

Do you deliver nationwide?

The CGH was set up to provide plants for our local area, using seed of local provenance; therefore at this stage we only supply local users. We would like to establish growing hubs at other WWT centres in the future – watch this space!

What’s your approach to sustainability?

  • We use peat-free organic compost
  • Our plants are all native and sustainably harvested
  • Our trays are all reusable, which is why we operate a deposit scheme.
  • Our fertiliser is a fully organic compound fertiliser
  • We do not use any pesticides or herbicides
  • Our watering system is on a timer and is set to water only when needed. We also do some hand watering if required.

How can I volunteer with the project?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. Please contact us to discuss this further.
