About me

I was born with an interest in nature. Based on this, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy from the Royal University of Agriculture and a Master’s Degree in Environment Management and Development from the Australian National University.

I decided to join WWT as I have over ten years of experience, including natural resources management, conservation, program management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and partnership management in Cambodia. Further, I have communicated and worked with local communities, local authorities, concerned ministries, especially Ministry of Environment (MoE) and Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), local and international NGOs and other concerned stakeholders.

My role

Implement WWT’s wetland conservation programme in Cambodia, including community-based conservation, field staff coordination, and programme administration. I will also help define and deliver WWT’s mission and strategic vision in Cambodia and represent WWT at national levels to drive forward the protection and restoration of wetlands. In line with our MoU with the Cambodian Government, I will support Cambodia to deliver on commitments made through the Ramsar Convention.

Experience and interests

Caring for nature and the environment is always my passion where I want a healthy and function environment for my future generations to come. I have over ten years of experience in relation to natural resources management, conservation, program management, monitoring and evaluation and partnership management in Cambodia.
