Get on nature’s trail with Duck Detective activities this Easter

Arundel Wetland Centre will be running a free Duck Detective trail for the Easter break, with events taking place from April 1-16.

Families will be able to put their detective hats on as they follow a trail of clues around our wetlands to reveal nature’s hidden secrets and help find a missing bird.

These avian investigators will need to track down the missing bird by finding feathery clues and footprints and logging evidence in their Duck Detectives Case File.

Other family-friendly activities running across Easter include pond dipping, nature touch table, Easter crafts and the chance to see recently hatched ducklings waddling around our site.

Lizzy Pearce the Learning Manager said:

“Easter is the perfect time to spot all the new life at our centres from budding trees to fluffy ducklings. Our detective trails will excite and inspire, helping everyone to feel closer to nature and to engage with the wonders of our wetlands.”
