Get stuck in with mud slinging, mud kitchen and mud art!
NEW this year we bring you Mudfest, with hands-on activities for all ages and abilities. Everyone can connect with nature and discover the magical powers of mud for wildlife and play. After all, it’s the stuff wetlands (and great family adventures) are made of.
Book ticketsWe’re talking a marvellous mud kitchen , muddy sculpture, mud-slinging, and even more mud! You’ll be able to paint with mud, hunt for mini-beasts in the mud, and create seed bombs using – you’ve guessed it – mud!
Come prepared to get messy and discover there’s more to mud than meets the eye.

Go mad for mud at these daily activities:
- Seed bomb making - Sat 15, Sun 16, Mon 17 – 10.30am-12.30pm
- Mud sculpture - Tues 18, Wed 19, Thurs 20 – 10.30am -12.30pm
- Minibeast hunts - Fri 21, Sat 22, Sun 23 – 10.30 m-12.30pm
Mud Art & Brilliant beaks in the Outlook In building - 11am-12.30pm and 1.30-3.30pm
Storytime in Swan Lake Room – 12.45pm - 1pm
Mud Flinging Game in the Picnic Area - 1.30-3.30pm
Mud Kitchen in the Wildlife Garden 10am–3.45pm
