Owl Pellet Dissection Workshops

Dissect an owl pellet supplied by our resident barn owls as part of your Super Natural autumn!

In this session you will dissect pellets to discover the tiny bones of wetland mammals who have become lunch for the barn owls with help from our friendly learning team.

We collect owl all year that the resident barn owls leave in the hides. The owls use the hides as hunting roosts at nights. The owls nest at Arundel in the summer, usually raising a few owlets! This year we had wild tawny owlets and barn owlets hatch at Arundel!
