Good morning! All much calmer here today after the storms.
Todays sightings are as follows;
SCRAPE HIDE: 18 Snipe, 6 Teal, Coots and Mallard.
SANDMARTIN & RAMSAR HIDES: 3 Cormorants, 1 Grey heron, 10 Teal, 6 Gadwall,
3 Snipe, Mute swans, Moorhens and Black headed gulls.
REEDBED HIDE: Reed bunting, Water rail.
RESERVE: Wren, Black cap, Nuthatch, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Bullfinch, Pied and Grey wagtail, Long tailed tit, Blue tit, Great tit, Robin, Black bird, Collared dove, Woodpigeon, Kestrel, Buzzard, Peregrine, Pheasant, Dunnock, Cetti's warbler, Herring and Black headed gulls, Kingfisher, Water voles, Tufted duck, Gadwall, Magpie, Jackdaws, Rooks, Red admiral butterfly's.
STAR SIGHTING: Gold crest around the woodland loop, (yesterday and today).
