The newly developed wet grassland is beginning to come alive with several pairs of

Lapwing, around 10 teal, several Shelduck, Gadwall, Canada and Greylag geese, along

with the usual Moorhen, Coot and Mallard. These can be seen from the Lapwing hide

at the end of the tranquil trail.

Really exciting to see what else will use this area this year!

Two pairs of Long tailed tits now nest building along the tranquil trail.
