Latest Sightings - 8th July - Ospreys doing well & Common Lizard seen
Apologies for the lack of news, the Reserve Team have been away at Martin Mere the past few days, but we are back now.
Water levels are looking good after some more rain last night, perfect for waders which should be heading this way after breeding in the Arctic.
Osprey Cam has been working much better recently, with the adults regularly bringing fish to feed to their ever growing chicks!
You can watch them live in the Visitor Centre 10am - 5pm.
One of our visitors managed to photograph a Common Lizard at the end of the Summer Walk this week. Although we know they are around the site, we rarely see them, so keep your eyes peeled!
The Tawny Owl is back in its usual tree along the path to the Folly Hide.

Please be aware, there is a wasp nest in the roof cavity of the Teal Pond Hide. They will not bother you if you do not bother them. If wasps are not your favourite animal, do not approach the hide. The Teal Pond can also be viewed from the Summer Walk.
