Latest Sightings - Saturday 25th August

A brilliant sunny morning but a very cool breeze at the moment. The Hawthorns at the Avenue Tower are still busy: Lesser Whitethroat, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Dunnock amongst others.

An duck ID challenge in the Flood Ground today. All in eclipse plumage, we have Mallard, Wigeon, Teal, Shoveler and Gadwall. The Folly Pond is also good for duck ID at the moment.

It's feeling a bit more like winter now, with goose numbers increasing. A large flock of Canada Geese has arrived in the area and can be seen and heard around the site.

Today's high tide is at 12:59, 8.6m
