Reserve Update Wednesday 18th January

The Drake American Wigeon has once again been seen on the Flood Ground this morning with a sighting of a  Male Hen Harrier from the Avenue Tower at the same time.  It was a good morning for a bit of wader watching from the Farmhouse Tower.  Twelve Redshank and 50+ Black-tailed Godwit were on the Folly Pond, 100+ Curlew were visible feeding in amongst the Barnacle Geese in the fields to the West and 50+ Lapwing were busy wheeling over the Peter Scott Observatory.
