Reserve Update Wednesday 19th April - Greenland White-fronted Goose

Nice surprise this morning with  Greenland White-fronted Goose mixed in with the Barnacle Geese at the back of the Folly Pond.  Served as a reminder that winter hasn't quite left us yet, even though we have Black-tailed Godwits in breeding plumage feeding in the pond and Swallows swooping across it!

Todays high tide is at 17:33, 7.1m
