Latest Sightings - 21st December - Open every day except Christmas Day

We still have restrictions on our network which means our webcams will not be online until January at the earliest. We apologise for this and are working to restore the system. Thankfully we are now able to take card payments in the visitor centre.

It's a dry and bright morning on the reserve, plenty of birds using the flooded fields at the moment. Lapwing, Golden Plover and Curlew feeding alongside the Barnacle Geese.

There have been good flights of Pink-footed Geese over the reserve in the afternoon as it has been getting dark around 4pm this week. Keep an eye out for a Tawny Owl along the entrance road if you are leaving the site in the dark!

Just a reminder that we are open as normal every day except Christmas Day, we hope to see you over the festive period.
