Accessibility during autumn and winter

During the colder months, the reserve can be wet and muddy so waterproof footwear is recommended. Those with limited mobility or using push wheelchairs may find traversing the Avenue and Saltcot Loaning unsuitable. Please call us on 01387 770200 for more info.

Latest Sightings - 21st January - slight frost & lots of birds!

It's a stunning morning on the reserve! A light frost has kept more swans here with 205 Whooper Swans on the Whooper Pond right now.

The bright sunshine makes it hard to count the Folly Pond until later in the morning, but we can make out plenty of ducks on there.

Todays high tide is at 06:33, 7.4m
