Latest Sightings - 26th May - Avocets again early this morning

Two Avocets were seen early this morning on the Folly Pond, but have since moved elsewhere, we are trying to relocate them.

It's set to be a very hot day, with little wind making it perfect for watching insects in the Meadow. Damselflies and Dragonflies are now easy to spot, as are a few early Butterfly species.

It is a big high tide this afternoon, and we will have Wardens on hand with telescopes to help watch for birds brought closer to the Saltcot Merse Observatory at 12:30pm.

Todays high tide is at 13:21, 9.9m
