Latest Sightings - 9th August
A sunny start to the day, which makes it great for watching butterflies and dragonflies in the meadow.
An Osprey has just been seen flying over the reserve, and there appears to be a Goshawk kill in the Avenue. A large Woodpigeon has been killed and eaten, this is at the upper end of prey for a large female Sparrowhawk which is why we suspect Goshawk.
There has been an increase in ducks on the reserve, and we expect to see some wader passage any day now so keep an eye on the Folly Pond especially.
Todays high tide is at 14:15, 9m
