Monday update, October 3rd
12 Whooper Swans are just off the reserve to the north and just visible with binoculars/telescope, to the north at Newmains Pond from The Farmhouse Tower. No real change in the Barnacle Goose situation, with 4 birds alongside the above-mentioned Whoopers and over 40 on the merse from Saltcot Tower. This is a really quite unprecedented late arrival scenario. Folly Pond still looks good with a selection of duck species and the Black-tailed Godwits

Osprey Webcam
The winter webcam is now showing the Whooper Pond. The first few Whooper Swans have already shown up and later in the winter we enjoy the superb spectacle of up to 300 of them along with a variety of wild ducks and geese at feed times - 11:00 and 14:00 daily
